Art Portfolio Project: Band Typography Design Sketch

For my band name, I have decided to call it "Amalgamation". The meaning of Amalgamation is the action, process, or result of combining or uniting. 

First of it, I was just thinking of making things like crazy 8, but this one I am going to do it 4. First design has nothing out of ordinary here. Just a regular font of Amalgmation.

Then, I am thinking of making it bold instead of thin. Bold just make things easier for me to design it in Adobe Illustrator. Still, this one has no design yet.

Next, I am putting a tail on the letter A just to make it very aesthethic.

Finally, this is my final design of my band name logo. I add like a line design on the letter A and N. Then I letter "l" I change it and with the letter "g" and "t" I extend their tail just to make it correspond to each other.

Now I have finish the sketch of my band design. I will bring this to Adobe Illustrator to trace it.
